Photos: Gov. El-Rufai visits the scene of Kaduna market outbreak

Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai earlier yesterday visited the scene of the inferno at the Station Market in Kaduna local government area of the state. The market was gutted by fire last night and three almajiris who sleep in the shops reportedly burnt beyond recognition.

The governor expressed his sympathy and affirms government's commitment towards rebuilding the razed market.

"It is most unfortunate that we continue to have this incident. What is sad for me, is not just the loss of property in this case, but the fact that the fire fighting equipment could not get in and reduce the losses because of the way and manner the market itself was designed. We already have plans for this market; we have plans to build a modern neighborhood centre across the railway line and relocate them"

Malam further assured that the leadership of the market and state officials will sit to assess the situation and bring a report to the government for further actions.

EFCC Seizes Dasuki’s & Army General’s Houses In Kaduna (Photos)

Property believed to belong to former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki was at the weekend confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna.

Dasuki, NSA to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is at the centre of a massive investigation into the alleged misapplication of about $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of arms.

A panel, which investigated the way the money was spent, indicted Dasuki and others. The EFCC moved in. Dasuki has been arraigned in court.

It was learnt that the property of others linked with the scandal were also confiscated by the anti-graft agency in Kaduna.

Among them is a former Theatre Commander of the Operation Lafia Dole in Maiduguri, Major General Yishau Mahmood Abubakar.

It was learnt that occupants of some of the buildings were expelled by EFCC operatives who took over the property, which they marked with red ink.

Dasuki’s confiscated property are said to be a hotel complex on Rabah Road, Malali GRA in the heart of Kaduna metropolis and a mansion under construction on Sani Sami Road, also in Malali GRA.

Except for some workers moving out their tools, the site was empty yesterday.

Maj.-Gen. Abubakar’s residential duplex located at No. 5C, Sultan Close was sealed off Sunday evening.

When our correspondent visited the property yesterday, it was marked in red paint, “Keep off, under EFCC investigation” in red paint.

It was also gathered that when the EFCC operatives arrived at the house, there was a birthday party going on. Everybody was asked to vacate the premises immediately and they obeyed.

A shopping mall allegedly belonging to Gen. Abubakar’s wife was also confiscated by the anti-graft agency. The inscription “Keep off, under EFCC investigation” was put on it.

Sources said the property belongs to the General’s brother and not his wife – as alleged.

Another shopping mall on Sultan Road, which is believed to belong to Gen. Abubakar’s friend who is an Ambassador was also confiscated.

Actor/Lawyer Sues President Buhari Over Ministerial Appointments

Barrister and actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has
sued President Buhari to Court over
ministerial appointments. The suit which
comes up in the Federal High Court, Abuja
with suit no: FHC/ ABJ / CS / 34 / 16 was
to compel the President to appoint an
indigene of the FCT as a Minister in
Nigeria.
Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo said : “On
November 11th, 2015, President
Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated 36
ministers from the 36 states of Nigeria
without appointing an indigene of the
Federal Capital Territory as Minister. This
is unconstitutional and discriminatory and
has led to tensions in the FCT as the
indigenes are becoming restive. All efforts
to get the President to appoint an
indegene of the FCT failed hence the need
for this suit to compel the President to do
the needful and avert a possible break
down of law and order with catastrophic
consequences in the FCT”.

[A Must Read] Message To Guys Who Patronize Sugar Mummies

I’m writing on this topic due to the numerous text messages and e-mails I get from readers asking me to link them up with sugar mummies. Guys, I want to state categorically that I don’t get involved in such messy deals. Why would a young man, instead of thinking and working for a better future, decide to live his life under the cover of a woman who does nothing but use him to satisfy her sexual urge?

I just pity girls who are so much after material things and fame without getting to know the stuff the man is made of. When you drive to all the big club houses in town, you see our so called big boys who are nothing but fools!!.. They throw the biggest parties in town, they keep the prettiest girls, they live in posh apartments, they have their class when it comes to cars and designer wears.

Guys, you know what? That is all they do with the allowance from sugar mummy. All these guys specialize in is dating old women, not because they are in love with them, but because they want to become intimacy gadgets, just to achieve their goals.

When you look at the corporate settings, you see some guys who are the female MD’s pets. These ones come to work whenever they like, they leave the office whenever they like, and they insult the manager at every slight provocation. They go against all the laid down rules of the company. But what do they get at the end of the day? Promotion instead of a query or sack letter. Some of them do it the good boy way. They become too committed to their job; they close late and are always the last to leave the office.

You are only looking for a sugar mummy because you see yourself as a failure in life. It is a shameful thing for a man to sell his pride just to become great. It is not worth it my guy. These sugar mummies will give you all the good things but not without the full dose of pain that comes with them.

You are happy now that unlike your fellow drivers and stewards, madam has rented a very fine apartment for you. She comes there when you are off duty just to have you waste your God-given substance. Nonsense!! Your day of pain is coming.

Why would you get involved in a relationship where you have no say of your own? You have a relationship with a very young girl who you have lied to, presenting the sugar mummy as your aunty. You trickishly send the girl out of the house whenever she is visiting. Nemesis will catch up on you someday!

Some sugar mummies have destroyed the lives of their younger lovers. Guy, don’t think you are too smart. She knows what you are doing, but she is waiting for the right time to strike. She knows you use the car she bought for you to pick your girls to the salon and clubs. She knows you used her money to rent an apartment for your young lover.

But she is only waiting to get another fool like you to be servicing her before she strips you of everything you have. You will surely vomit it someday. I know of a 22 year old guy who stole N3million from his sugar mummy. She hunted the guy and she sent assassins to kill him, as I’m speaking, he is already a dead body..

Guys, why get the whole wealth, and loose heaven?

why sell your pride just for the comfort that lasts for a while? Even when you end it with her, you can never regain your pride. Don’t sell your birthright for a pot of porridge.

Even if things are too hard for you now, refuse to be involved in such a relationship that can give your mother heart ache. It’s a sad thing that some mothers these days support their sons having sugar mummies. These women have sent their daughters-in-law out of the house for a sugar mummy to move in and be responsible for feeding and maintenance of the whole family. If your mother is into this with you, I am very sorry for you because your situation is a very serious one. Your mother is just as greedy and foolish as you are.

I can say categorically that 80% of this so Called Sugar mummies are Glory users… Beware!!

Please think about this, and change your ways.. And to you Ladies, May God deliver your future husbands from the hands of Sugar Mummies!

I have Been Alfa’s s*x Slave, He Will Make Me Mad If I Reveal Our Affair – Housewife

It was like madness had come over 50-year-old Dayo Kamorudeen, a taxi driver in the Lekki area of Lagos, when he heard the most shocking secret his wife of more than 20 years had been keeping from him.

According to Kamorudeen, it appeared that a spell had been placed upon his wife when she told him on Sunday, January 17 that she was visiting Akute, a border town between Ogun and Lagos states.

Kamorudeen said she lived with his wife and three children in Akute for many years until two years ago when he relocated to his new house in Oke-Ogun area of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.

But what happened on January 17 opened a Pandora’s box of a big secret that his wife had been forced to keep for two years.

“My wife told me he was going to Akute that day and she was really adamant as usual. Anytime she said she wanted to go to Akute, there was nothing anybody could say to stop her.

“But this last Sunday, I had to ask her what exactly she was going to do at Akute since we had left the place two years ago. Even if she had a relation there that I did not know about, shouldn’t the person too visit her once in a while?

“She then started crying, mentioning the name of Alfa Shehu Lukman, the Islamic cleric that was teaching my children Qur’anic studies before we left Akute. I remembered that before we left the community, my last daughter suddenly said she was never going to attend the Alfa’s Qur’anic class anymore.

“I asked my wife what the Alfa did and by the time she was done, I was too shocked to even know what to say. I was looking at my wife and she suddenly seemed like a stranger to me, like she was not the same woman I married in 1996. I just could not believe what she was telling me.

“She was crying and said if I did not allow her to visit Alfa, he would kill me and our children and she too would run mad.”

What Kamorudeen narrated that his wife confessed to was too shocking to be believed at first, so our correspondent asked his wife to explain what happened herself.

Kemi told our correspondent that while they were still living at Akute, she had a dream one day. Since her husband was away at work at the time, she said she had to turn to Alfa Shehu Lukman for help.

She said, “The dream was frightening. I narrated the dream to him and he told me that a spirit husband was behind my problem. He said the problem required an urgent solution so that the spirit husband would not be able to kill me.

“He told me that after I had taken my bath the following day, I should call him and he would come with the medicine. The following morning, I took my bath and called him.

“When he came, he brought out a razor and some medicine he had prepared and said he would need to make an incision on my private part. I asked why he couldn’t just explain how it would be done so that my husband could do it for me when he came back from work but he said that it was a taboo for husbands to handle such medicine.

“He told me that to ward off the spirit husband, the incision was just the preliminary treatment. He said the medicine would be rubbed on the incision after it had been made.

“I agreed to it and he was making the incision when he suddenly grabbed my neck and forced himself on me. He defiled me on the three-seater couch in our sitting room.”

Kemi explained that after Lukman had his way with her, he brought out some drugs and a Qur’an and told her that if she dared to disclose what he did to anybody, her husband and children would die while she would run mad.

She said as she was visibly shaking in fright, he made her swear to secrecy with the Qur’an.

The 45-year-old artisan said, “He told me not to worry and that the spirit husband would leave me alone so far as I heeded his instructions. I asked why he would do such a terrible thing to me when he knew my children and husband.

“He said what was done was done. He said he used a medicine on me while defiling me and that he would leave me to my problem if I decided to make a scene. He said I would simply run mad.

“He said another condition that would make me to retain my sanity was that anytime he needed s*x and he called me, I must always heed his call wherever I was and that I must not tell anyone.”

“I have been his s*x slave for the past two years because of this. He calls me anytime he wants s*x. Sometimes he sleeps with me in our house when my husband is away, sometimes he demands that I should come to his house in Akute.”

Asked if Lukman’s wife and children were not usually around when he slept with her, she said he has a dedicated room where he slept with her.

Asked how she did not summon the courage to tell her husband in the last two years, she said she was just too afraid that Lukman might make good his threat.

Kemi said she was also afraid that Lukman could reverse a spiritual help he rendered to her youngest child, who is now 22 years old.

“There was a time my daughter woke up and was complaining of some problems. I took her to the Alfa and he said she needed a spiritual bath. That was before he first forced himself on me. He took her for the spiritual bath and she became well,” she said.

Asked if she followed the spiritualist and her daughter to the spot where the spiritual bath took place, she said Lukman forbade her from following.

Kemi’s husband said he simply could not believe that his wife was going through such a thing without telling anyone.

“I told her that she must not go that day and that if he was indeed as powerful as he claimed to be, he should kill me before the next day,” Kamorudeen said.

Kamorudeen said one of their children, a university undergraduate, was travelling to school and had accident that affected her legs few years ago.

He said, “My last born, who introduced the Alfa (Lukman) to us, was undergoing Qur’anic studies under him at the time. While we were in Ife for her elder sister’s treatment, she was alone at home.

“She said she was sleeping in the sitting room one afternoon when the Alfa came visiting to sympathise with us on the accident. She said when she told him that we were not around, he suddenly grabbed her neck and attempted To Molest her but she quickly raised the alarm.

“Our landlady at the time came out when she heard the noise but the Alfa quickly told the woman that he was just trying to continue the Qur’anic studies and she was proving stubborn. He used that opportunity to escape that day. My daughter too could not tell the woman what actually happened.”

Kamorudeen said he could recall that since they left Akute two years ago, his wife had visited the place more than 30 times.

On Thursday, our correspondent tracked down Lukman in a remote community of Otun Abule, few kilometres from Akute area of Ogun State where he carries out his spiritual consultations.

Lukman, who started to sweat when our correspondent mentioned Kemi’s name, said he is 52 years old and an indigene of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

When all the allegations against him had been related to him, he said he was really shocked about everything the woman had said against him.

He said, “There is no quarrel between us, so I don’t know where all these r*pe allegations are coming from. I am really shocked but truly, they consult with me regularly on spiritual issues.

“I am a spiritual doctor to the woman and her children. It is true that I made incisions on her, but it was not on her private part. It was just beside her private part, on the inner part of her thighs.

“I have been a spiritualist for more than 30 years and I do not lie. It is true that I also did a treatment for her daughter which required a spiritual bath. There is nothing strange in that. There is a stream not far from here where she had the bath.

“I knew the girl first when she was my pupil. She then introduced me to her parents. Her mother consults me all the time and so do the children. But I never slept with or defiled the woman before. I also never attempted To Molest her daughter.”

Asked if he ever called Kemi in recent times, he said he only called her about two weeks ago to find out if she was visiting the area.

“She had told me before that she was attending an event around here. So, I called two weeks ago to know about the event,” he said.

And why did he have to do that, he was asked, Lukman said he was just checking on her welfare.

“Before that last call, I had not even spoken with her for about four months.”

Kamorudeen, who reached out to activist, Esther Ogwu, of the Esther Child Rights Foundation, for help, said he wants justice but does not know the appropriate step to take.

The case has yet to be reported to the police, but Ogwu said the authorities would be notified when necessary.

She said, “People should be careful the kind of people they turn to for help. At this point, I can only advise people who may be in a similar situation to always confide in a third party.

“I believe Kemi. He probably simply preyed on her fears. It is also possible that this Alfa might be doing the same thing to other people in that community. They should seek help because whatever he is feeding them is just lies to keep them enslaved.”

Kidnapped Goat Abused And defiled In Gothenburg

A goat was kidnapped Sunday night from Slottsskogens Zoo in Gothenburg, and it was then subjected to abuse and r*pe.  – It had been abused, burnt, and we also found injuries in the v**ina, says Per Ã…berg, who is head of the zoo. It was when the animals were counted on Monday morning the zoo staff discovered that a goat was missing. They searched everywhere without finding the goat.

After a while the staff got a tip from visitors who seen a goat nearby, and it was found, abused and defiled. The mixture of injuries and abuse was so severe that it had to be killed. – This has occurred at night or early in the morning, it was discovered only a few hours later. They had to call the vet and the vet had to put the goat down, says police spokesman Peter Adlersson to the Swedish newspaper Nyheter Idag.

No one has yet been arrested for the macabre cruelty, and that goats are kidnapped and subjected to r*pe is not something they have heard of before at the Gothenburg police station. – Horses that have been abused happens every now and then, but this was something new I have to say, says Adlersson. Adlersson says the police has secured evidence from the the goat, and hopes that there may be witnesses who were near Slottsskogen Zoo during Sunday night or during the early morning hours. Witnesses are asked to contact the police.

– We hope someone have seen something and contact us, he says.
The police does not want to reveal what the evidence is.

SEE The Economic Advantages Buhari Gave UAE To Repatriate Loot and Looters

SahareReporters in the excerpt from their article below described how President Buhari rejected best advice from his ministers in prioritizing repatriating looted funds stashed in the UAE.

Etisalat and Emirates airlines are some UAE investments in Nigeria. NewsRescue dug-up for more information on the agreements to find what Buhari may have traded in effort to repatriate loot. We found the agreements include an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion, signed by the UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, and Nigerian Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun.
This means Nigeria would tax Etisalat less or nothing for instance, thus losing funds over the long haul for the UAE to repatriate funds and Nigerian criminals. We are investigating for the full details to evaluate the sum of the negotiations and their overall benefits, if zero-sum or non zero-sum.
Below is the SaharaReporters report:

SaharaReporters has learned that the commercial and trade agreements signed between Nigeria and the UAE were considered by many on Mr. Buhari’s delegation as counter to Nigeria’s best economic interests. The most vocal dissenters, according to sources, were Mrs. Adeosun and Mr. Udoma, who counseled Mr. Buhari not to sign those agreements.
Our sources revealed that Mr. Buhari was, however, not interested in his ministers’ arguments that the economic agreements between Nigeria and the UAE were weighted against Nigeria’s interests. “Mr. President was focused on doing whatever was necessary to repatriate stolen funds and extradite criminals hiding in the UAE,” said one source. He added, “He was so concerned about that sole issue that he became incensed about the warning from some members of his team.”
At one point in the debate, Mr. Buhari declared his readiness to relieve Mrs. Adeosun and Mr. Udoma of their portfolios if they did not drop their opposition to the agreements.
One source told SaharaReporters that the two ministers realized the importance of identifying and reclaiming assets illicitly stashed away by corrupt Nigerians in the UAE, especially Dubai. However, they felt that Nigeria gave away too much in terms of its bilateral economic interests in order to achieve the president’s major goal.

Senior officials from Jonathan’s administration to be arrested abroad

In connection to the several ongoing investigations into corruption, the Nigerian Government has concluded plans to declare former minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke and some other top officials of the ex President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration wanted.

These officials may likely be arrested abroad as some are believed to be laying low in the United Arab Emirates which recently signed an extradition and loot repatriation agreement with Nigeria.

The names of other ex-top officials and military officers which is expected to be released in the future -sometime next week- is in correspondence with the findings of the anti-graft investigators who believe these ex-officials fled the country to avoid arrest and subsequent prosecution over corruption as reported by sources aware of the plans.

The former minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Bello Adoke believed to be in Dubai is wanted in connection with the $1.1 billion Malabu Oil deal and will be required to answer questions pertaining to his role in transfer of huge sum paid by Royal Dutch Shell and Eni who are both oil giants into account operated by convicted felon and former petroleum minister Dan Etete as revealed by sourced inside the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

ThisDay Newspaper publisher, Nduka Obaigbena also appears on the list and would be declared wanted for recieving from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki the sum of N670 million. In the letter sent by the publisher to EFCC, Obaigbena claimed part of the money served as compensation for attacks by Boko Haram members on his newspaper Offices in Abuja and Kaduna while another sum of N120 million was payment on behalf of Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria and 12 newspapers being compensation for unlawful seizure and stoppage of their prints by armed soldiers in several cities including Abuja.

In light of the information contained in the letter to EFCC by Obaigbena, some newspapers have denied receipt of money from NPAN while others have since returned the money paid to them after information revealed it was part of the N2.1 billion for arms procurement in fight against Boko Haram.

Former comptroller of the Nigerian Customs Services Abdullahi Dikko, former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, two senior military officers, Gen. Sarki Yarki-Bello and Col. Bello Fadile are also on the list.                                                                                                                                        Source : Spy Nigeria

5 Reasons Why Pregnant Women Should Have Sex Regularly

Every woman looks forward to conceiving her own child, they say the gift of motherhood is the greatest joy any woman can ever feel. While some women view pregnancy as a burden they must carry, others view the changes that occur in their bodies with awe.
Pregnancy is not so easy, while carrying a child for nine months can be stressful, there are several perks attached that can help relieve the stress. You must have heard that sex during pregnancy should be avoided, bla, bla, bla, truth is sex during pregnancy might just be the best sex you will ever have.
Orgasms during pregnancy is extra amazing and extra fun. Having sex during pregnancy is good for your body, your heart rate, your relationship and believe it or not, it will also facilitate a safe delivery.
Although there are certain conditions that might prevent some pregnant women from having sex, sex during pregnancy is almost divine.

Here are Five Reasons Why Pregnant Women Should Have Sex Regularly.

Your Orgasms Are Out of This World

Some women experience multiple orgasm for the first time during pregnancy. Your sensations are heightened because the genital and pelvic regions are engorged with blood thus intensifying all kinds of stimulation. Orgasms also increases the contractions in the woman’s pelvic floor, which helps to strengthen the muscles she needs for labour and after delivery.

Lowers Blood Pressure

Sex during pregnancy helps to lower blood pressure. Oxytocin, also known as the love hormone released during sex is a good stress reliever. All the built up tension will simply go away and this keeps your blood pressure at a healthy level. Sex makes the woman feel calmer and lowers the risk of heart attack.

Enables Sound Sleep

During pregnancy, women often experience all kinds of discomfort, from back pain to frequent urination, sleeping hours just gets shorter as the fetus

grows in the womb. Sex during pregnancy is a good way of getting sound sleep because the woman feels more relaxed after having an orgasm.

Increases Intimacy

The bond between husband and wife remains unbroken when they both have sex during pregnancy. Some live with the myth that women are very abrasive during this period, so they should be avoided.
Truth is during pregnancy, the release of oxytocin which is also referred to as the bonding hormone boosts emotional attachment and makes pregnant women more sympathetic, supportive and trusting. Both partners get closer to each other and this definitely helps their love life.

Reduces Pain

Certain hormones like prolactin, oestrogen and progesterone, which increase blood flow to the pelvic area, including the vagina, increasing lubrication and sensitivity. The increased blood flow to the Vagina can help reduce painful intercourse. Sex during pregnancy will also help ripen the floor of the cervix and this can reduce the pain of delivery.

BUHARI REPLIES TRUMP – “I WILL REPATRIATE EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN IN NIGERIA

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally given in to pressure from different quarters by replying the statements made recently by American Presidential Hopeful, Donald Trump concerning Nigerians.

Speaking to journalists in the United Arab Emirates, President Buhari had a simple reply to Donald Trump.

“He says he will pursue all my people out of America. No problem. I wish him well at the forthcoming elections. But if he thinks he can threaten my people, then I don’t think he understands who I am and what I am capable of”. President Buhari told newsmen.
“He should go and ask the family of Umaru Dikko. he should ask the Mossad about me. If he threatens my people, how does he think the Americans in Nigeria will be safe?”
The President went on to issue a warning to all Americans resident in Nigeria, both on temporary and permanent basis.
“I hope all of you are praying this man loses. because if he wins, all of you, from embassy to the streets, will be sent home. And don’t discount the probability that your plane might not land exactly in America. That is all I can say for now”.
Donald Trump could not be reached for comments as at press time. However, Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, both Democratic Hopefuls, and Dr. Ben Carson and Ted Cruz of the GOP, have reached out to President Buhari, reassuring him that if they win, none of Mr. Trump’s threats will come to fruition.

Body of toddler missing for a week found in the woods

The body of Noah Chamberlin, the 2-year-old missing boy from Pinson, has been found.
Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver addressed reporters Thursday afternoon, and said Noah’s body was located between 1-4 p.m. about a mile and a half from where he went missing on Jan. 14. The thought of a 2 year old child alone in the woods, wandering for days, no food, no shelter, no protection from the bad elements, wearing the same diaper for days, crying and all is just....heartbreaking. Continue...

“I think we’ve done everything humanly possible,” Weaver said. “We were there and we stuck to it and it just wasn’t meant to be for some reason. We don’t know everything, and we’re not supposed to know everything.”

Authorities said no foul play was involved in Noah's death, which they called a tragic accident. An autopsy will be conducted, which is standard procedure.

Noah had been missing since last Thursday. He, his grandmother and sister were walking in the woods near Short Road near the Chester and Madison county line when he disappeared.

His grandmother had taken him and his four-year-old sister on a nature hike when she said she lost sight of him.

Authorities said the trio had sat down to talk while in the woods and when the grandmother turned around, he was gone.

'They sat down to talk and she was paying attention to the granddaughter, and when she turned around he was gone,' Madison County Sheriff's Office spokesman Tom Mapes said. 'She immediately went to look for him.

'Just like grandma said, she turned her head for a minute and he was gone. There were trails everywhere,' Weaver said.

'Everybody we talked to talked about how he ran all the time, jumped over tables, ran, just nonstop,' Mehr added. 'He loved to hide. We had people tell us that even adults would run after him, and they couldn't catch him.'

Hundreds of law enforcement officers and volunteers were involved in the weeklong search before Noah's body was found Thursday afternoon.

On Wednesday, law enforcement officials said they had found evidence in the woods, leading officers to believe the toddler was nearby.

Madison County Sheriff John Mehr, who had assisted in the search for Noah since Jan. 14 when he was first reported missing, would not comment on what leads or evidence had been found then.
Weaver said volunteers from across the country joined in the effort to find Noah, and those volunteers are appreciated by all the agencies involved in the search.

"That just shows that we're supported and they believe in what we're doing," Weaver said.

Both Mehr and Weaver rejected speculation that Noah's family may have been involved in his disappearance, saying that lies and unfounded rumors have been spread on social media.

Investigators hit out at conspiracy theorists who speculated that the boy's parents, Jacob and Destiny Chamberlin, were behind the disappearance.

Skeptics have been calling on officers to raid the family's home, with wild accusations claiming the child was covered in wet concrete or buried under an outhouse on the family property.

"We have thoroughly vetted all of that," Mehr said, in response to questions on the family's background. The family are "good citizens," Mehr added.

Photo: Woman battered by ex-husband for not answering his phone calls

A woman in Kawangware, Nairobi was left without a tooth and broken arm after her ex-husband beat her up. Lydia Nyanchama, a private school teacher said Stephen Omondi, a mechanic based in Westlands, on Sunday, January 17, beat her for not answering his phone calls.

In an interview, she narrated the cause of her action :

"I had gone for an outing in Dagorettion Saturday when he called but I did not not answer because he chased me from his house in 2014 without a clear reason," Nyanchama said.

A woman who teaches at Light of God school, a school close to her house, said she found Omondi waiting outside her house when she returned the following morning, that after beating her, he threatened to return and kill her.
Nyanchama said she went to Mercy mission hospital in Kawangware for treatment and reported the assault at Muthangari police station. She was given a P3 form but has asked police to quicken investigations and arrest the man as she fears for her life.

Photo: 4 year boy kidnapped from his school in Lagos

4 year old Ojelabi Micheal Oluwatomiyin pictured above was kidnapped by a yet to be identified woman at his school, Mafina Primary School Unity estate along Iba expressway in Lagos yesterday January 20th.

A relative of the kidnapped boy said according to Ojelabi's 8 year old sister, herself and her little brother were in their school waiting for their mother to come pick them up. When they got tired of waiting, they stepped out of their school compound where they met the kidnapper who told her their mother asked her to come and pick them up. The young girl refused saying she does not know her.

The kidnapper then forcefully grabbed her younger brother from her and ran away. No word has been heard from the kidnapper since yesterday. The matter has been reported to the police and investigation into the matter is ongoing. Anyone with useful info should contact: 08024371127, 08028287574. Or the nearest police station.

Family friend sells 3 year old girl for N20,000

A three-year-old girl, Success Onyeisi was kidnapped from her home on December 22, 2015 and hasn't been seen since then.

The toddler was allegedly kidnapped by a neighbour and supposed family friend, Emmanuel Okpara, who during the search of missing 3 year old, helped the toddler's father,  Godwin Onyeisi, look for the girl, until he was accused by people who saw him with the child about the time she reportedly went missing.

Her father, a commercial motorcyclist said he has spent all his savings, about N60,000, on police investigations and other logistics to no avail.

Based on the accusation, Okpara has been arrested and transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja, where he allegedly confessed that he sold the toddler for N20,000 but didn't say who the buyer was or where he could be located.
The little girl's father, Godwin Onyeisi said:

“The worst part is that he (Okpara) followed me to all the places I went to in search of my daughter, with the same clothe he wore when he kidnapped her.

“He followed me on my motorcycle to all the palaces of the Baales, all the streets and all the police stations we visited, until people who saw him with her about the time she went missing, told us and the police that he was the kidnapper,” Onyeisi said.

He continued:

“My older children went to fetch water at the well in a nearby compound. They went with other children in our yard. So, because we were planning to travel, my wife left Success who was watching cartoon in the room and rushed to the market.

“She was the one who called me  that they have been looking for Success and have not seen her. Initially I didn’t really take her seriously because I did not think anyone will want to harm me or my family.

“When I came back and they have not seen her yet, I started going round the neighbourhood asking questions.

“As we were going round to ask people, the Baales were sending messages through town criers that anyone that saw her should come forward with the information.

“For two days, we went round in search of my daughter and my neighbour was with me all through the period. He was wearing the same red T-shirt that people saw him with while he took my daughter away. But he was following me as if he did not know anything about her disappearance.

“From December 23, we started hearing information that he was seen with my daughter, but I did not believe it because Success is very close to him. I have been very good to his family; I even connected my generator to his house to give them light.

“Whenever my daughter is given  food, she will take it to eat with him. Once we bath her, she will take her clothe to him to wear for her. She usually slept in their house, so I did not want to believe that he was behind her disappearance.

“But three women later came to our house, among the three was a woman he bought bottled water from while he was with my daughter. So, the woman now said he saw him with my daughter and that after drinking from the water, he gave my daughter to drink and they left.

“I still did not believe what they were saying. I told them to stop lying against him until my wife got angry and went and reported to the police that I was also a suspect. That was how I was arrested with him on December 25 and we slept at the station.

“He was still denying it, until the women and all those who saw him with my daughter came to the police station and identified him.

“They even described the clothe he was wearing, which happened to be the same clothe he wore while he was following me about. That was how the police detained him.

“After some days, he confessed that he was the one who took her and that he sold her for N20,000 through somebody else to a man who lives in Okota.

“He said he cannot remember the man and the middle man who took the baby to the buyer usually stayed at a woman’s house here in Coconut.

“I have been going from church to church and they keep telling me that my daughter is alive.

“Okpara should let me know if he has killed my daughter. If my baby is still alive, he should say where she is. How can a man like that kidnap a little girl and since then he doesn’t want to say where she is? Police need to put pressure on him to say where my baby is.

“I have spent all my savings on the investigation of this matter. I have been giving the police money so that the case is not slowed down. Now I don’t even have money to pay for the school fees of my other children,” he said.

The woman in whose house the middleman usually slept was arrested but later released because she knew didn't know anything about the case.

It was gathered that the middleman gave the child to a chief, who handed her over to his prophet for sacrifice.

All the locations mentioned by Okpara have been visited by the police but the child still hasn't been found.

The Police have launched a manhunt for the buyer and the prophet he allegedly gave the child to. The investigation is supposedly still ongoing.

Court sends Pro-Biafran leader Nnamdi Kanu to Kuje prison

Justice John Itsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenious People of Biafra, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Security Service since October 14th last year, be sent to Kuje prison in Abuja immediately.

The order was given at a resumed hearing of the treasonable charges the Federal government filed against him today January 20th. His lawyer actually asked that Nnamdi should be sent to prison as it was difficult for his legal team and friends to talk to him while he was in DSS custody.
